Musically speaking, how far does a band's influence extend?
Thinking about this, I started looking for Queen cover versions played by non-famous artists and from there I tried to understand how popular Queen was among the people who played them. That is, playing songs like "Don't Stop Me Now" "I Want to Break Free" or "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" is easy to find in the repertoires of various bands around the world, but what about "Seaside Rendezvous" "Great King Rat" or "Back Chat"? Is there interest in playing these songs that don't reach a wide audience?
This was the starting point for this research.
I used YouTube as a research base and some criteria for curation. Well-known bands would be excluded — Metallica, Green Day, Melvins?
Forget it, that's not the purpose. Cover bands were only included if I couldn't find another version, and even then, the lesser-known ones were always the favorites.
It's not necessary to be faithful to the version, but rather to have had the desire to play it, in public or in a room.
Some songs may appear more than once because I thought they were worthwhile and hey! I'm the curator, remember?
The albums are accessed through the menu at the top of the page. Remember, an open mind is an important requirement; what mattered was the initiative of each person who felt influenced by Queen to move and play their music. Never compare it to the original because each musician is unique.

Musicalmente falando, até onde vai a influência de uma banda?
Pensando nisso comecei a procurar versões de músicas do Queen tocada por pessoas não famosas e a partir disso tentei entender até onde o Queen era popular entre as pessoas que tocavam, ou seja, tocar musicas como "Don't Stop Me Now" "I Want to Break Free" ou "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" são fáceis de encontrar em repertórios de diversas bandas pelo mundo afora, mas e "Seaside Rendezvous" "Great King Rat" ou "Back Chat"? Será que existe interesse em tocar essas músicas que não tem alcance junto ao grande público?
Esse foi o ponto de partida para esta pesquisa.

Esqueça, esse não é o propósito. Bandas Cover caracterizadas só entraram se eu não tivesse encontrado outra versão e mesmo assim, sempre as que fossem mais desconhecidas, dentre elas, foram as preferidas.
Não é preciso ser fiel a versão, mas sim ter tido a vontade de tocá-la, em público ou num quarto.
Algumas músicas poderão aparecer mais de uma vez por que achei que valiam a pena e hey! eu sou o curador, lembram-se?
Quase todas as músicas do catálogo do Queen foram tocadas e estão disponíveis no YouTube, só não encontrei (ainda) Party e Rain Must Fall, a segunda apenas em um medley.
Surpreendentemente encontrei mais músicas do ábum Flash Gordon do que eu imaginava, mesmo assim algumas faltam.
Os álbuns são acessados pelo menu no alto da página, lembrem-se, mente aberta é um requisito importante, o que contou foi a iniciativa de cada um que se sentiu influenciado pelo Queen para se mover e tocar sua música,nunca compare com o original porque cada músico é único.
